Hi, I came across your video on YT and came over here to check out your loc progress? I just started my locs with braids on May 25, so I am looking forward to the journey. How long did it take for the braid pattern to go away? How many locs do you have, and how do you maintain them? Do you have a FB so I can add you and keep up with your progress there?
It took different amounts of time depending on the texture on that part of my head. I don't remember exact dates, but the back lost the pattern at about a year. The front took about 15 months, although I still have 2 braids that still refuse to give in. lol I love them now though, they add character. I don't really post about my hair on my FB, but I post pictures on my instagram pretty regularly. My name is MilitantGypsy.
